As Denver area motorsports enthusiasts know we recently lost our local track - Second Creek Raceway. A number of local car clubs have banded together to raise money to buy land and build a replacement.

Bummer about second creek. I'd heard it was a pretty good little track. Was it encroached upon by houses filled with people who don't like noise? "Gosh, when I bought a house near a race track I never imagined I would have to put up with living near a race track."

They got another extension through 05, hooray, but we still need a replacement.
How about the houses encroaching on Rocky Flats? You just gotta wonder what people are thinking...
